Colour Revolt are Live at Paste

January 20, 2011

You may remember Mississippi rockers Colour Revolt from touring with big-name bands like Brand New and Manchester Orchestra. They have the ability to go toe-to-toe with bigger bands and still stand out as innovators.

Their second full-length album, The Cradle, was released late in 2010 courtesy of Dualtone records, and Noisetrade.com is currently offering an acoustic set featuring four tracks off the album, plus a captivating cover of Sparklehorse’s “Eyepennies.” The set is taken from Colour Revolt’s live performance at Paste Magazine. All you need is an email address to get the songs for free.

Jesse Coppenbarger and Sean Kirkpatrick are the recording members of Colour Revolt, who have been crafting delicately rough indie music together since 2005. The Cradle has received a high level of praise, scoring an 87% on absolutepunk.net and 4 out of 5 stars on allmusic.com.

Colour Revolt is currently on tour on the east coast through January and February. Go to Noisetrade now to get your free “Live at Paste” download.
