The mtvU Woodie Awards will be back at South By Southwest this year and mtvU has promised they will be bigger and better than ever before! Categories for the awards include: Woodie of the Year, Performing Woodie, Best Video, EDM Effect Woodie, and Breaking Woodie.
A number of Feed the Beat artists are nominated this year in the Best Video and Breaking Woodie categories! Battles’ “My Machines” and Best Coast “Our Deal” got the nod for Best Video, while Cults, Fake Problems, Fun., Sleeper Agent, T.Mills, Walk the Moon, and Wallpaper are all up for Breaking Woodie.
Voting is now open until March 9th, except for Breaking Woodie which will be open until March 15th, here! For a full list of nominees, click here! The best of the mtvU Woodie Awards will air on MTV and mtvU Sunday March 18, 2012 at 8PM E.T.
