Houston native Haley Georgia has wanted to be a songwriter for as long as she can remember. Gaining inspiration from artists like Taylor Swift, Haley began writing and performing in local talent competitions from an early age – winning her first title at age 11 with her rendition of Martina McBride's "When God Fearin' Women Get the Blues."
Haley continued to write and sing through high school and with her parents' blessing, moved to Nashville immediately following graduation. Flash forward to a few years later and now, this 20-year-old is currently in the studio recording her debut album for Universal Nashville.
Fans and critics alike gravitate to Haley's candid lyrics while Billboard Magazine appreciates Haley's "youthful inflections" and "wit." Haley taps into pop influences and Millennial slang in her song "Ridiculous," which gives listeners a taste of a new star who is not afraid to take chances.
