Feed The Beat Artists Perform at The Bell

Over the days of August 8-11, 2019, Taco Bell friends and superfans gathered in Palm Springs, California for The Bell: A Taco Bell Hotel & Resort. With reservations selling out in two minutes, guests traveled from twenty-one states to take part in the immersive experience.

In addition to a specialty menu (featuring never-before-tasted Taco Bell items) and exclusive resort experiences (such as the hotel's salon, where guests could get Cinnamon Twist Braids, Baja Manis, and Fire Fades), the brand curated an entertainment lineup for the hotel like no other. Feed The Beat Alumni Wallows, Whethan, FLETCHER, Bryce Vine, and Tate Tucker joined Taco Bell and its biggest fans in Palm Springs for a weekend filled with great tunes and great tacos.

FLETCHER kicked off the weekend with a fiery performance on Thursday night. Performing her hits including "War Paint" and the recently-turned-gold "Undrunk," the Capitol Records recording artist garnered herself a hotel's worth of new fans that night.

Friday brought new kinds of excitement, starting with a surprise poolside performance by hip hop/rap artist Bryce Vine in the late afternoon. His pop-up performance consisted of three of his biggest hits, including "La La Land," "Drew Barrymore," and "Sour Patch Kids."

Next up was genre-bending rapper Tate Tucker, originally of neighboring Los Angeles, who brought both mellow, meditating vibes and a mid-set cannonball to The Bell Hotel.

Finally, to finish off an incredible day of Feed The Beat performances, rock band Wallows headlined Friday night with an energetic set that blended original songs and covers featuring some familiar phrases. One might have heard a Beatles cover of "Blackbird," reimagined as "Blackbird fly, blackbird fly, into the light of a Taco Bell sign..."

All three artists who performed on Friday were also featured on Taco Bell's weekly Feed The Beat Fridays Instagram story feature.

Saturday night marked the end of an incredible weekend filled with sun, sauce packets, and sounds of Feed The Beat. DJ and music producer Whethan headlined on Saturday, bringing a dance party to the floor that would continue throughout the rest of the night.

Finally, to end the weekend and celebrate Baja Blast's 15th Birthday, Taco Bell threw a #BajaBdayBash. Dueling DJs allowed fans to pick a side and choose their tunes during a silent disco, keeping everyone dancing until the pool deck closed for the night.
