Taco Bell & MTV Present: A VMA Artist To Watch Concert

Featuring FOUR Feed The Beat artists!

This past weekend, Los Angeles was a party zone. Literally - you couldn't go anywhere in town without hearing about all of the amazing parties that were going on around the "big event" - MTV's VMA's, obviously! MTV and Taco Bell partnered up to throw a big soiree of our own on Saturday night - A VMA Artist To Watch Concert! Luckily, we've got all the photos to recap it with you!

One of the most exciting parts of the night was it gave us the ability to celebrate FOUR different Feed The Beat artists, including a VMA Nominee. The night kicked off with the impossibly upbeat HOLYCHILD, who are still running off the energy of their debut album The Shape of Brat Pop to Come. A familiar face followed - for the second time this summer, Robert DeLong took the stage at a Taco Bell event! No surprise, he destroyed the stage (and made us even more excited for his sophomore record, if that was possible). St Lucia were the next musicians to hit the stage, and these long-time Feed The Beat alumni put on a fantastic show, playing some of our favorite jams that are PERFECT for summer. And of course, then we were blown away by the night's headliners (and the VMA Nominees) Walk The Moon. With "Shut Up and Dance" sending the whole room into a tizzy, they certainly helped to (metaphorically) blow off the roof of the Avalon!

Of course, what's a Taco Bell event without some excellent food? With Daredevil Loaded Grillers floating around the venue, there were FIRE BREATHERS on stage to set the mood - and if you tried the Firey Ghost Pepper Loaded Griller, you might have even been a fire breather yourself!

Overall, the night was fantastic and we couldn't have been happier. If you joined us, thanks so much for coming! And if LA was just a liiiittle too far for you this time around, stay tuned - there will be more Taco Bell / Feed The Beat events coming soon enough!
