PORTUGAL. THE MAN FEATURED IN TWO TACO BELL® SPOTS FOR THEIR NEW CRAVINGS VALUE MENU

January 16, 2024

Continuing a relationship that has now spanned nearly a decade and a half, Taco Bell has launched two new spots for its Cravings Value Menu featuring the GRAMMY-winning group Portugal. The Man, and their songs "Grim Generation" and "Evil Friends." For fans of Portugal. The Man, "Evil Friends" was the first song the band ever featured in a commercial – and yes, it was a Taco Bell commercial.

The newest spots highlight Portugal. The Man's Taco Bell story as they've been long fans of the brand while touring and a part of Feed the Beat®, Taco Bell's program to support the cravings of artists who are touring with gift cards. Featuring Cravings Value Menu items, the spots showcase how easy it is to feast while on a budget with craveable products perfect for any occasion – whether you're a band on the road or a fan who simply wants to enjoy their Taco Bell favorites. Watch + share the latest Cravings Value Menu spots “In The Studio” ft. "Grim Generation" and “On The Road” ft. "Evil Friends."

Having released their acclaimed new album, CHRIS BLACK CHANGED MY LIFE, last summer via Atlantic Records, Portugal. The Man will head back out on the road across the U.S. next month, in continued support, kicking things off February 2 in Del Mar, CA, and wrapping February 24 in Washington, DC [all dates below].

Portugal. The Man have always been strong believers in giving back to communities and supporting the marginalized in our society. The group launched the PTM Foundation in early 2020, focused on universal issues related to human rights, community health, and the environment, with an emphasis on causes directly impacting Indigenous Peoples. Last year, PTM’s John Gourley and wife/bandmate Zoe Manville’s daughter was diagnosed with DHDDS, an incredibly rare genetic mutation that afflicts only a handful of other people worldwide. Discovering that precious little research has been done on the DHDDS, with virtually no developed medications or treatments, and therefore, little help from insurance, the two parents helped to launch Frances Changed My Life, to raise awareness, support families and help drive research into the ultra-rare DHDDS gene mutations. Catch Portugal. The Man on tour with SNACKTIME next month.  A full list of tour dates can be found below.
