About the Artist

Windser is the solo project of Los Angeles–based singer-songwriter and producer Jordan Topf, an indie rock artist whose music blends nostalgic storytelling with modern, atmospheric production. Originally from Santa Cruz, Topf began writing and recording songs at a young age, developing a sound rooted in shimmering guitars, intimate vocals, and a balance of melancholy and uplift.
Emerging in 2022 with his debut EP Where the Redwoods Meet the Sea, Windser quickly gained traction for his emotionally resonant songwriting, earning support from tastemakers like SiriusXM’s Alt Nation. His music lives at the intersection of indie rock, alternative, and dream pop pairing diary entry lyrics with expansive, cinematic arrangements that feel both personal and universal.
Windser’s profile rose further through collaborations with Macklemore on tracks like “Next Year” and “Maniac,” introducing his voice to a wider audience and leading to national television performances on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Tonight Show. He has since toured extensively, supporting acts such as alt-J, The Head and The Heart, and Portugal. The Man, where his dynamic live show and raw vocal delivery have helped build a devoted following.
In 2025, Windser released his self-titled debut album, a deeply introspective body of work exploring themes of memory, loss, and personal growth. Recorded at Animal Rites studios featuring contributions from members of Father John Misty and Phoebe Bridgers' touring bands, the album is a musical conversation recorded live. Across his catalog, Windser transforms formative experiences into expansive indie rock anthems, positioning himself as a compelling new voice in the genre one rooted in vulnerability, yet built for connection on a larger scale.
