BANNERS (aka Mike Nelson) comes from Liverpool, UK. Fascinated by dreams, life, death, hope and despair, he grew up singing in the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral Choir and the Liverpool Kop. Influenced by artists ranging from Jeff Buckley to Arcade Fire, Mike's music is at once haunting & hopeful, sure to resonate with audiences across space & age. Recently named a Spotify Spotlight 2016 artist, BANNERS' tracks “Shine a Light" and “Start A Riot" have generated close to 20 million streams.
