About the Artist
Imad Royal is, and has been, a great many things. First and foremost: a gifted singer, producer, songwriter, and player whose minimal, pop-kissed R&Beats earworms are as easy to love as they are openly emotive. But also: DJ, college dropout, big brother, metal drummer, and refugee for a summer. It was that last one that inspired most of the rest. When you're on the road from Lebanon trying to get away from a war and your family avoids being caught in a missile strike, well, you don't waste time.
