About the Artist

Though based in Brooklyn, Plastic Picnic is a group of four Pacific Northwest transplants: Lincoln Lute, Emile Panerio, Marshall Hunt, and Gordon Taylor. Described as an “indie post rock project soundtracking a John Hughes movie,” Plastic Picnic combines the cinematic pop-nostalgia of the 1980s with their laid-back west coast feel, a love for analog synth, and atmospheric guitar work. After three debut singles, their first EP is due for release on Highland Park this fall.
