About the Artist
Rivers of Nihil formed in 2009. We did extensive DIY touring until 2012 when we signed with Metal Blade Records. In 2013 we went down to Florida to record our first full length album with Erik Rutan at Mana Studios (Cannibal Corpse, Nile, Morbid Angel) entitled "The Conscious Seed of Light." After two years of hard touring we then released our 2015 full length "Monarchy." Three years later we released our 2018 album "Where Owls Know My Name" which charted at number 61 on Billboard 200.
