Artist Bio

The Academic is an Irish indie rock band made up of 4 young lads who’ve performed together since middle school. Though they are just barely in their 20s, their debut album Tales From The Backseat (prod by Tim Pagnotta) is an impressive coming of age debut you’d expect from musicians beyond their years. In 2017 they went viral with an innovative Facebook live looper video for their song "Bear Claws" and since then have been touring nonstop, including opening a show for The Rolling Stones.
