The Ongoing Concept is an American rock band hailing from Coeur 'd Alene, Idaho. Formed in 2010, The Ongoing Concept was later picked up by Solid State Records, a reputable record label based out of Seattle, Washington. They released their debut album "Saloon" in 2013. In 2015, they released their sophomore album "Handmade." It received much recognition, not only for debuting at 137 on Billboard Top 200, but also for the band building every instrument recorded on this album from scratch. Dawson Scholz, lead vocalist, has spent countless hours to keep the band as DIY as possible. Recording, producing, mixing and mastering every record they have put out, he has also directed every music video to date. The Ongoing Concept strives to stand out and be a voice for people wanting to hear and witness something unique.
