Artist Bio

A rural-Georgia native whose first word was Elvis, Willow Avalon grew up playing piano in church, taught herself guitar at age 12, and soon started writing songs as a form of escape and salvation. After leaving home at 15 and briefly living in her car, the singer/songwriter made her way to California and eventually settled in New York City, where she resides in a Hell’s Kitchen apartment transformed into her own outlandish (and viral) vintage wonderland. Given her big city life and her country roots, it's not surprising that her music, which she plays, writes and produces alongside a small circle of collaborators, is a refreshingly contemporary take on classic country sounds infused with timeless songwriting sensibilities. Her debut EP Stranger, which has racked up some 10 million streams since being released in March, is the perfect introduction to that sound, and moreover, an intro to her infinitely charmed and wildly unpredictable world. Willow currently traveling the country playing arena alongside Cage The Elephant and her debut album is due out in fall 2024.
