Maya J’an is an alt-indie, folk pop singer-songwriter whose craft emerges from her residency in Los Angeles, though her music shows no bounds to geography. Her songs live somewhere within a genre of the emotional pull of Imogen Heap, the soulfulness of Kate Bush, and the angelic vocal presence of Lianne La Havas and Phoebe Bridgers.
